Bill was active in several community service and professional organizations and served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club. A man of varied interests, Bill enjoyed designing and building things, including a Cobra automobile and a Lightning airplane.

Bill lived part of the year at his home in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, near Lake Chapala. There he pursued his interest in art, and was a patron of the Northern Lights Music Festival.
Bill will be remembered for his great personal warmth, his thoughtfulness, his subtle humor and his analytical mind. Bill was truly a “man’s man” with a tender heart. He brought us joy.
