Frances “Fran” was known for her kind nature, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. Fran worked for many years as a server, often the favorite of many, dining in the establishments she worked in. Fran also worked for Motorola semiconductor for over 20 years.
She is survived by one son, Fredric Hancock and one daughter, Janet Marie Cox, 2 stepchildren, Delores A. Hicks and Ellan Hamilton, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Frances survived her daughter Nancy Marcum (Hancock), late husbands, Fritz Hancock, and Robert Hamilton.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren St., in Phoenix.
