Frederick “Fred” Anthony Quihuis passed away December 24th, 2023 at the age of 71. He was born June 6th 1952 to Lionel and Lupe Quihuis. He was raised in Phoenix along with 8 other siblings. Fred received his AA degree from South Phoenix Community College. He played one year of Semi Pro football with the South Phoenix Saints. He served in the Military and retired with the Army National Guard. With the Guard he led a Youth Troop called the Explores. He also retired with Maricopa County serving as a Surveillance Officer. His tasks were to work closely with Probation Officers and follow up with the Juveniles making sure they were making their court dates and following the requirements of the court. He found himself many times serving the families he met by supporting with food and other needs.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife Susan, parents Lionel and Lupe, brother David and sister Lupe.
Fred is survived by his siblings Frances (Henry), Lionel, George (Betty), Pete, Marie (Umberto), Mark (Sharien) and many Nephews and Nieces.
