Emelio E. Garcia

passed away September 26th, in Scottsdale and now joins his wife Toni and grandson Brian in heaven. He is survived by sons Ernie and Frank, daughter Renee, mother Francis, brothers Jerry and Michael, sister Nitha, grandchildren and companion Chris. Born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1936 to Ernest and Francis Garcia, Frank attended Gallup High and the University of Arizona. He married Toni Gonzales of Gallup and raised his family in Gallup, served as mayor of Gallup, owned a restaurant in Pinetop, Arizona and retired in Tempe, Arizona. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 29th at 10 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix.
