Nellouise Anna (Hainlen) Garcia

Nellouise Anna (Hainlen) Garcia, former resident of Trinidad, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2017.

She was born July 24, 1930 to Margaret Martinez and William Newton in Trinidad, Colorado.

Nellouise was a mother and homemaker all her life.

She and her late husband Sam Garcia, operated the Granite Reef Senior Center Dance Club in Scottsdale, Arizona for 8 years.

Nellouise is survived by her two sons, Jim Hainlen, Trinidad, CO, Kim Hainlen, Phoenix, AZ, grandson Khan, two daughters, Luwauna Webb and Leslie Pau, Phoeniz, AZ, grandchildren, Samuel Phillips Sarah Phillips, Nicholas Webb, Adam Hiat, great grandchildren, Marley and Lincoln, close friends, Mary Smith and Mike Lacks and wonderful caretaker Mary Rubino. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
