In loving memory, we share the passing of Ronald M. Gay, 94, of Scottsdale. He would tell us all he lived a wonderful, full, life – and to go on to enjoy ours. Ron was born in South Waverly, PA, coming to the Valley in 1957. He was a retired Commercial Real Estate Broker. He greatly enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Helene and was an avid golfer; still playing 9 holes just one month ago. Ron was a long time member of Moon Valley Country Club, won their President’s Cup Championship twice in different decades and enjoyed playing competitively in Arizona and for pleasure worldwide. He was especially proud of shooting his age or better many times. Throughout the years, Ron was always admired by his family, friends and business associates for his integrity and loyalty. He is survived by his beloved wife Helene and daughters, Marcia Hallman (Barney), Christina Halvorsen (Gary), son David R. Gay (Roxanne) and stepdaughter Diane Gay Wrenn. He is also a proud Grandpa to Rachel, Gregory, Analise and Delaney and great grandpa to Monica and Jennifer. Ronald requested that donations be made in his name to Chrysalis Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence, 2055 W. Northern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85021 and Summit Hospice Care, 1717 W. Northern Avenue, Suite 117, Phoenix, AZ 85021. At Ron’s request there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
