Marian Gerton

Marian Gerton,76, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2017. She was born in Visalia, California on August 30, 1941 and subsequently moved to Arizona after graduating from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Fresno, California, where she became a lifelong resident. Marian worked for the Banner University Medical Center (formerly Good Samaritan Hospital) for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was also a member and faithful attendee of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Phoenix. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Robert, and is survived by her son Bobby Gantt and daughter Lea Gould, grandchildren Aubreana Franey, Harry Gould and Eric Gantt, sisters, Lucy Links, Estella Jimenez and Linda, Hinojos, brothers, Tommy and Joe Lopez and Patrick Hinojos. Marian also left behind a multitude of friends and associates who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 14, at 1:00 P.M. with the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
