Victor Jr Gorraiz

He was born in Phoenix, AZ Jan 1, 1937. He died peacefully on February 28, 2016, surrounded by his wife & children. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julia Goodson Gorraiz and their eight children Carolyn Rissler (Philip), Victor Gorraiz III, John Gorraiz (Theresa), James Gorraiz (Stanya), Rita Sippel (Kris), Theresa Haldeman (Cory), Paul Gorraiz (Monica), and Peter Gorraiz. Victor was also blessed with 36 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Anne Marie Lauda Gorraiz, brother James L. Gorraiz and sister E’Vangelina Lauda Meeker.  Visitation and a Rosary are Fri., March 4, 2016 5:00-8:00pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. The funeral service is Sat., March 5, 10:00am at Brophy Chapel, 4710 N. Central Ave. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. Victor’s legacy is his loving commitment to his family.
