Judith Arlene Green

Judith (Judy) Arlene Green passed away at the age of 81 on January 18, 2018. Judy was surrounded by her loved ones. Judy was born on February 2, 1936 in Indianapolis and moved to Phoenix at the age of 11 with her parents (Fielder and Mary Andrews), and her younger siblings Patricia and Frank. Judy attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School where she met the love of her life, Gerald. They married 60 years ago and had 4 children: Tim, Gina (Fred), Brian and Danny (Cindi). Judy had 6 grandchildren (Alicia, Bryton, Brennan, Sean, Christopher and Kennasey) and 3 great-grandchildren (Trent, Mason and Jayce). Judy also had many nieces and nephews. While Judy held numerous jobs, her one true passion and focus was being a wife and mother. Judy was passionate, fiery and feisty. She loved sports, especially the Diamondbacks and all Arizona State University sports teams. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved family get together. She was not a fancy person, but she was classy, had poise and carried herself well. She is already deeply missed by her husband, children, family and friends. A Visitation will be held between 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M., on Thursday, January 25th, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 26th at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Basilica, 231 North 3rd Street, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
