Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on October 29
th
, 2016. Alma was 97 years of age. She and her husband of 61 years, Virgil (deceased) worked together in their masonry and stone business, Arizona Flagstone, since 1950. With her attention to detail and innate business sense, she and Virgil were truly partners in their success. Alma was devoted to her family. Her caring and gracious nature was recognized by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Agnes and St. Thomas Sodalist, and she enjoyed her affiliation with the Red Hats. While living at the Terraces, she was a loyal member of the weekly Peanut Butter and Jelly Brigade, making sandwiches for the homeless. She and Virgil also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul. Alma always had a good word to say about everyone. She was a true and faithful friend to all who knew her. Alma is survived by her daughter Patricia LePage (Jesse Whitaker), her grandson Jim LePage (Carrie), three great grandchildren, Justin, Cory, Jordan and one great great grandson and her nieces and nephews. , 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 10

, 2016 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, The Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Mary’s Food Bank. The family wants to especially thank the wonderful caregivers at Bethany Gardens and Premier Hospice. They were truly angels of mercy.
