After a long and fulfilling life, Virginia C. Gulledge passed away peacefully on January 7
th
, 2015 at age 92. Virginia was born in Gadsden, Alabama and moved to Phoenix with her mother and sisters, Anna Sue and Patricia, when she was in her teens. She attended North High School where she met her lifelong love and devoted husband, Frank Gulledge. Virginia and Frank shared a passion for travel and were able to take many memorable trips all around Europe. She had a great love for flowers, serving as President of the Phoenix Garden Club, and was active in Ikebana Club. Her other interests included spending time with family and friends, playing bridge, and participating in the Big Brother’s, Big Sister’s organization. Virginia is survived by Frank, her loving husband of 68 years; son, John, and granddaughters, Jessica & Amy; son, Gary, daughter-in-law, Natalie, granddaughters, Jenna, Kelsey & Raquel; daughter- in-law Cheri and granddaughter Stephanie; and 6 wonderful great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eldest son Bruce Gulledge (2006). Services for family and close friends will be held at 10:00 am, January 16, 2015 at Saint Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, followed by commemoration at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
