Lois Ann Hartman

Lois Ann Hartman, 73, died of natural causes on February 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Kent Hartman. She is the daughter of Carmela Julia Ferrucci and Americo Gouveia whom she joins in Heaven along with her brother James Gouveia, her sister Ann Marie Gouveia, and her nephew Eric James Gruler. Lois is survived by her son David Novak and his wife Kris, and daughter Carmela Jade Davis and her husband Dustin, sisters Marianne Gouveia and Linda Ahearn, and brothers John Gouveia and Dr. Joseph Gouveia. She had a successful career as a Prima Ballerina and was a principal in the Sebastopol Ballet company where they produced yearly Nutcracker Ballets and trained students to become world-class dancers. She loved the little things in life and was an honest, generous person who was always ready to help someone in need. She was a kind soul with a passion for caring for her many, many animals! Lois’ funny sense of humor and gentle nature will be greatly missed by all of us. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:30AM at the Franciscan Renewal Center located at 5800 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley. A lunch reception will follow the Mass at a private residence located at 7801 N. Invergordon Place, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. Lois loved flowers so they are welcome.
