Passed away on July 6, 2014 at age 86. Born in Lansing, Michigan, he moved to Phoenix as a teen, joined the US Navy at age 17 and served in World War II. He graduated in the first class of Architecture at ASU and went on to work in electronic engineering at Motorola for 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife Helen of 64 years, daughter Holly, son Gary and 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Diana and Lauren. He remained an active and dedicated member of Memorial Presbyterian Church since 1956, and served on the Board at Scottsdale Camelback Resort for many years. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4141 E. Thomas Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to Hospice of the Valley.
