Marjorie J. Hibbs

Marjorie Jane Hibbs of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on 12/11/2013.  She was born 5/18/1925 to the late Louis “Cobby” Moyer and Icia Normanda Moyer (Peart) in Zanesville, OH.  Marjorie was a devoted wife and mother.  She moved to Phoenix with her husband and eldest son in 1957 from Hopewell, OH.  She enjoyed her work of over twenty years as a nurse’s aide at Doctor’s Hospital.   In retirement, she volunteered at Orangewood Elementary school and loved to draw natural habitat around her summer home in Munds Park.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, William (Willy) D. Hibbs.  She is survived by her sons, Tyrone Lee  and Samuel Jude, her grandchildren, Kimberly, Sarah, Christopher, Jordan, and Colby and great-granddaughters, Samantha and Sophia.  Services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018.  Viewing 4-5:00pm, with Funeral Service immediately following.

Interment will be at 10:00am, Friday, January 10, 2014 at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
