Jean Ann Prenovost

Jean Ann Prenovost, 88, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Jean Ann was born August, 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL to James Senese and Margaret Senese (McGrath.) She graduated from Xavier High School in Phoenix, Arizona in 1954. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald L Prenovost on January 26, 1957; they were married 51 years before Donald L passed away September 2008. Together they had six children, Donald G (wife Debbie,) James F (wife Janie,) Gary A, Peggy A Palfi, Lori A Durfee (husband Jeffrey A Durfee) and Julie A Prenovost (deceased.) They had 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

 Jean Ann Prenovost enjoyed working for the Maricopa County Elections Department before retiring at the age of 79. Jean had a kind heart, a warm smile and a sweet disposition. She always had an ear for those in need and would always provide sound motherly advice. But, more importantly she was all about her family; particularly loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Her love for her husband was infinite and overflows upon her children even to this day. Jean Ann will truly be missed, but her legacy of love will live on.

 A rosary will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 6-8pm at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home followed by a funeral on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 am at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix. A burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
