Jeannine H. Schneider

Jeannine H. Schneider, 94, of Phoenix, passed away July 12, 2024, in Scottsdale, AZ.

On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4510 N. 24th Street, a Rosary will be held at 10 A.M. with Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 A.M.

Private burial will be held for the family.

Jeannine was born in Chicago to Winifred and William Hanlon on February 17, 1930. She graduated high school at Immaculate Catholic Girls School, then moved west with her family to Phoenix. There, she graduated Phoenix College and attended Arizona State.

In 1946 she met the love of her life, Charles A. Schneider. They married August 19, 1950, at St. Agnes Catholic Church and were married for 25 years until Chuck’s passing.

Jeannine was also preceded in death by her parents, Winifred and William; brother Bill Hanlon; and sister Mary Dvoratchek.

Jeannine was always very proud of her five children: Gail (Steve) Davis, Mary (John) Loghry, Chuck Schneider, Gerry (Darla) Schneider and Lori Moore. She was grandmother to Matt, Betsy, Dan, Daniel Altman, Renee, Chloe, Regan, Erin, Jordyn and Jessica; and Great Grandmother to Yago, Gracie, Sam, Micah, Ava, Ivy, Leilani and Liliana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Regan Moore Special Needs Trust Fund, PO Box 212971, Chula Vista, CA 91914 for the continuing care of her granddaughter or to the charity of your choice.
