It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of beloved wife and sister, Jill Brandi Park, 73 years old, on November 6, 2024, in the comfort of her own home with her loving husband by her side. Jill was a proud native Phoenician, born to her parents Delbert Jerome and Fae Miller, on June 2, 1951.
Jill married the love of her life and best friend Robert “Bobby” Park and was blessed to enjoy nearly 50 years of marriage with him, leaving memories that Bobby will hold close to his heart forever. They were high school and college classmates and worked together at Bill Porter’s Saddleshop. Jill proudly owned and operated her family’s children daycare service which she ran for most of her life. Additionally, she traveled both the US and internationally with Bobby promoting his leatherwork and instructional classes.
Jill was a person of great compassion which shined through in everything that she did, especially her love for dogs and horses which dictated her western lifestyle. As a successful dog breeder and handler, she achieved multiple National Championships and was rarely seen without one by her side. Jill was also an accomplished equestrian, showing Arabians in both English and Western disciplines. Ultimately she traveled with Bobby, showing Quarter Horses and qualifying multiple times for the AQHA World Championships in both Reining and Working Cow Horse. Jill’s light will continue to shine through all of those who were blessed to know and love her.
Jill is survived by her loving husband Bobby Park, her daughter Jacquelyn, grandsons Kash and Bourne, sisters Judy and Jinger and niece Rae Ann
A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix.
