Sylvia A. Jimenez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 9, 2023. She is survived by 6 daughters, Cynthia Acevedo (Mike), Jessie Jimenez, Suzanne Jimenez, Rebecca Sanchez (Gilbert), Mary Angela (deceased), Elizabeth Jimenez, Andronica Balderston, stepson, Arthur Rey (Joyce), 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, one brother-in-law, and one sister-law. Sylvia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Jesús F. Jimenez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 8:30am with rosary prayers at 9:00am and Mass to be celebrated at 10:00am at Saint Mary’s Catholic Basilica, 231 North 3rd Street, in Phoenix. Interment will follow at Saint Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com.
