Jose Luis Bueras Gomez, 68, passed away on April 10, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.
José Luis was born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and lived a life marked by hard work, inner strength, and deep devotion to his family.
He is survived by his eight grandchildren and his children: Analee Bueras (married to Leticia), Jorge Bueras (married to Cristina), Carlos Bueras (married to Tatiana), Roxana Valencia, and José Luis Bueras Jr.
He is also survived by seven siblings, who will remember him with great affection. He was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel, and three of his siblings. His mother, Elena Bueras, is still living.
José Luis was known for his strong character, his sarcastic sense of humor—always delivered with the warmth of a loving jokester—and the calm presence he brought to those around him. A man of few words, he expressed his love through tireless work and sacrifice. Everything he gave—he gave for his family, even when it required great personal sacrifice. His strength and love will live on in the lives he helped shape and in the family he loved so deeply.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix, Arizona.
There will be a memorial gathering from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate his life.

José Luis nació en Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, y vivió una vida de trabajo duro, fortaleza interna y una profunda devoción a su familia.
Les sobreviven sus ocho nietos, y sus hijos: Analee Bueras (casada con Leticia), Jorge Bueras (casado con Cristina), Carlos Bueras (casado con Tatiana), Roxana Valencia, y José Luis Bueras Jr.
También le sobreviven siete hermanos, quienes lo recordaran con gran cariño. Le precedieron en muerte su padre, Gabriel, y tres de sus hermanos. Su madre, Elena Bueras, aun vive.
José Luis era conocido por su carácter firme, su sentido del humor sarcástico, siempre con el cariño de un buen carrillero, y la tranquilidad que transmitía a quienes lo rodeaban. Hombre de pocas palabras, expresaba su amor a través de su incansable trabajo y sacrificio. Todo lo que dio—lo dio por su familia, incluso cuando eso implicaba un gran sacrificio personal. Su fortaleza y cariño vivirán en las vidas que ayudo a formar y en la familia que amó tan profundamente.
