Jose Indalecio Rosales, 70, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by so much love on March 5, 2024. He found peace to leave this life and join our Heavenly Father with his two sons eagerly awaiting with arms wide open.
Jose was born on August 9, 1953 in El Salvador. He loved his heritage and was so proud to be Salvadorian. He and his family opened the first Salvadorian restaurant, Eliana’s Restaurant, in Phoenix, AZ in 1989. Jose would captivate everyone in and outside the restaurant with his big smile and powerful voice, sharing tales about his family and their Salvadorian roots and never forgetting to explain exactly how to eat a pupusa properly.
If you saw Jose, you knew his wife of nearly 50 years, Paula, would also be close by. Together Jose and Paula met life’s challenges of raising a family, which included their sons Jose and Jayro, and their daughter Eliana. Together they also the grieved the loss of their two sons in 2002.
Jose was so proud of being a grandfather to Jayro Jesse Rosales (27), Enrique Jose Rosales (26), and London Thomas Rosales House (16). He is loved by so many and will be missed everyday.
He is survived by his loving wife Paula, his daughter Eliana, three grandsons Jayro, Enrique and London, two sisters, Glendy and Dora, and brother, Toño, and countless family and friends.
