Amalia Judiscak loved life, and everyone loved Mali. She touched people’s lives wherever she went and whatever she did. It sounds cliche, but she was a shooting star – brilliantly lighting her path in an all too short life. She was taken from us far too soon in our understanding, but at the perfect time in God’s loving plan. We already miss her so much and can’t imagine life without her.
Mali was born in Tucson, Arizona just 17 short years ago. Mali loved animals, particularly her dog, Elliot (and everyone else’s dogs too). Mali was a natural athlete, being the youngest of 5 children, with three older brothers, Ray, Elijah and Dom, and one older sister, Chelsea. Mali loved to sing, even though she could not carry a tune, and Mali danced like no one was watching. Mali was smart and confident and beautiful. Mali had a style all her own. Mali loved to greet patrons of Ace Hardware, where she worked part-time as a cashier, and loved to photobomb every picture she could. Mali was strong, but had a tender heart, and displayed genuine love and care – but Mali also called it like she saw it.
Mali is survived by her sister and brothers, her parents, Dot and Kevin Judiscak, her aunts and uncles, Carol and Mark, and Sally and Jim, and her grandmother, Katherine “Nina” Mitchell, her half-sister, Staci Loucheim – and also by the many she encountered before leaving us. We love you Mali. We still expect for you to walk through the door, but instead will have to wait until we come to you.
