Phyllis Karis

Phyllis R. Karis died peacefully in her sleep on September 5th, 2012 at “Magda’s Home Care”. She worked at the Duck and Decanter for 30 plus years and attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband; Cletus (Red) Karis in 1981, one sister Shirley Proucsh and son-in-law Larry Howell. She was a 50 year member of St. Thomas Sodality. She is survived by four children: John B. Karis (Jocelynn), Susie Howell, Mary Hemphill (Dave), Kathy Errigo (Vince), eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all of those who loved her. Visitation will be from 10:00am-1:00pm, with a Rosary and Funeral Service at 1:00pm, Monday, September 10, 2012 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
