Katie Lynn Fulton of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Quakertown, PA passed away peacefully at her home in Phoenix on Sunday, March 9th, 2025. She is with her Lord, Jesus Christ.
She fought a tough battle with auto-immune encephalitis over the past 2 years. Her courage and desire to live life to the fullest was huge. She was a courageous, strong, spunky women, enduring many hurdles and tragedies in life.
Katie was a graduate of Quakertown, Pennsylvania Community High School, Class of 2001 and a Magna-Cum-Laude graduate of the prestigious Interior Architectural Design College at Arizona State University, Class of 2007.
During her formative years Katie was active in gymnastics, dance and swimming. She was the Captain of her High School Cheering team. Leaving Quakertown for College she fell in Love with Phoenix Arizona, remaining there most of her adult life. A few short-term residences in Los Angeles, CA and Pennsylvania occurred, but the lure of Phoenix was always in her heart. While in College she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and a Dance team member of the Phoenix Coyote’s NHL Hockey team (2003/2004). She was also a member of the Philadelphia Flyer’s NHL Hockey Cheer Squad (2008/2009).
Katie was extremely creative, with an eye for Architecture. Over the years she worked for many Architectural firms and contracted her services to many Architects in Phoenix. Buildings and homes interiors in Phoenix still bare her creative designs.
She is survived by her parents, Clarke and Dawn Fulton of Quakertown, PA. Maternal Grandmother Mary Worth and loving Aunt Bonnie Worth of Bensalem, PA.: her friend and partner Thor Darnell of Phoenix, AZ and her loving and supportive community in Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, June and Charles Fulton of Newtown, PA. and William S. Worth of Bensalem, PA.; Uncle Brian C. Fulton of Newtown PA.; and her beloved sister, Jenny Bender of Langhorne, PA.
A Celebration of Katie’s Life will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
