Joan M. Kelly

Joan M. Kelly, 91 years young…of Phoenix, Arizona, died peacefully on June 18, 2018. As her Son, Richard D. Kelly said: “There are billions of people in Heaven and Our Mother knows one-third of them.” She was loved, admired and adored by so many. Joan was blessed with 9 children, 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She certainly was the epitome of love, kindness and compassion for all of us! She lived out the true meaning of being Catholic; by seeing the good in everyone. In her famous words: “Keep a smile on your face and NO anger or hatred in your heart.” She will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. in the St. Ignatius Chapel at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix. A Memorial/Rosary will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
