Kenneth Francis Trzeciak, fondly known as Ken, 84 years old of Phoenix, Arizona, passed peacefully in his sleep on February 4, 2025, after a long, hard-fought battle with several debilitating illnesses. Ken was a Valentine's Day baby, born on February 14, 1940, in Avonmore, Pennsylvania.
After moving to Phoenix in 1958, he courageously joined the United States Army and served honorably, a testament to his strength and commitment to his country. Following his military service, Ken began a distinguished career with Motorola Semi-Conductor division, where he dedicated over 30 years of his life before retiring. He approached work with the same zest for life that characterized his personality, never allowing challenges to dampen his sunny disposition. In his retirement years, Ken enjoyed comradery with fellow veterans at the local posts as a member of the American Legion.
Ken's life journey was not just marked by his professional achievements but was enriched by his loving family. He leaves behind his cherished sons, Kevin (Pauli) and Chris (Jessica), and loving daughter, Charity (Tim) Douds. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Spencer (Melanie), Hunter, Marin, Mckenna, and his great-grandson, Brixton, who will forever hold dear the memories they created with their beloved grandfather. Ken was a friend to many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His warm spirit and kindness touched countless lives; he was a beacon of hope and joy to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah J. Trzeciak, and his parents, Frank and Helen Trzeciak, as well as his dear aunt and uncle, Charles and Stephanie Trzeciak.
As we gather to honor Ken's memory, we will reflect on his remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for his family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, located at 4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day, what would have been his 85th birthday, on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ, immediately followed by entombment with military honors rendered by the United States Army, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St, Phoenix, AZ. Following his burial, a continued celebration of Ken's life will be held at the Scottsdale Elks Lodge #2148, 6398 E. Oak St, Scottsdale, AZ.
Kenneth Francis Trzeciak, with his enduring spirit, will be deeply missed but his memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
