Margaret Kleinschmidt

Died on March 8, 2013.  She was born in 1940 in Utica, New York, the daughter of Robert and Emily Gillson.

Her childhood was spent in Hamilton, New York, and she moved with her family to Phoenix in 1954.  After graduating from Xavier High School and the University of San Diego, she taught second grade in the Scottsdale School District for a number of years.  Later, she taught kindergarten at St. Agnes School and was a training coordinator for the Clerk of the Superior Court.

She was a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and was active in the Sacred Heart Alumni Association.

She is survived by Tom, her husband of 46 years, daughters Anne who is married to Curtis Ingram, Mary who is married to Kirk Ostrowski and her four grandchildren, Henry Ingram, Emily Ingram, Benjamin Ostrowski and Nathan Ostrowski.  Everything she did was for the happiness of her family and everyone knew her as a kind and gentle person of extraordinary cheerful disposition.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix.  The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Ave., Phoenix.   Entombment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
