Charles (Charlie) C. Kottmer, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away May 9

, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rita, and stepson Patrick Brannan. Charlie is survived by sons, Kim (Linda) and Kevin (Jane) Kottmer, stepson Michael (Chris) Brannan and stepdaughter Kathleen (Richard) Metz. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Charlie left his family with many great, often humorous, memories and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 12:30 PM, on Wednesday, May 14

, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Many heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers and therapists from Seasons Hospice.
