John Joseph Krahulec, 95 of Phoenix AZ died peacefully after a brief illness on January 24, 2019.
John was born in Dalcom Slovakia. He served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Artillery. He moved his family to Phoenix in 1952 and always loved having been a valley resident for over sixty years. He worked for the circulation department at the Arizona Republic and Gazette. After his retirement John was able to pursue his passion of spending time visiting valley swap meets.
John is survived by his loving wife Rita M. Krahulec of 72 years and two sons, John J. Krahulec, Jr. (Anne) of Geneva IL; Robert Krahulec (Judy) of Phoenix, AZ. John was a grandfather of six and great-grandfather of ten.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E Thomas Rd., Phoenix. A reception and light lunch will follow at Father Feeney Hall.
