Mary Jane Laws

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on November 20th for Mary Jane laws of Scottsdale who died November 16th of age-related causes. She was 101. Mary Jane was born December 23rd 1915 in Lima, Ohio. She was a United States Navy Lieutenant RN during World War II. Mary Jane married her husband Carl T laws and moved to Arizona in 1947 where she continued to work as a Navy nurse at Madison School District number 2 until she retired. Survivors include her son Thomas laws, daughter-in-law Kathy Taylor laws, granddaughters and spouses Tiffany and Jason Carver, Danielle and Zach Engelking, and two great-grandsons Jaxon and Oliver engelking. Monday, November 20th services will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 5045 East Thomas Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sage Hospice, 5111 N.
