Leonard "Lenny" Campanell

Leonard “Lenny” Campanell, 75, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. Born in Hazleton, PA.  He was the son of the late Leonard and Catherine Scarcella Campanell. Lenny was a graduate of Hazleton High School and Empire beauty school.  He was a barber for many years.  He was beloved by all his clients, who will miss him dearly.  Lenny was well known to be friendly and always ready to help someone in need.  He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed MLB spring training.  He served in the Army reserves.  He is survived by a brother, Anthony and sister, Nancy Mussleman, both of Allentown, PA., and several nieces and nephews.  Lenny was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Campanell Smith.  Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Community in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11 A.M. with visitation to be held at 10:15 A.M. Burial will take place at a future date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital or Arizona Cancer foundation for children or Charity of your choice.
