Lorraine Lindstrom was born June 15, 1924 in Rush City, MN. She married Hardy Lindholm on December 29,1945. Together they had four children; Thomas, Leslie, Craig, and Cam. She died at home on February 21, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ with her daughter Cam and Jennifer Mraz at her bedside.
In addition to being a busy housewife and mother, Lorraine worked for Hope Chest Bridal services, Motorola Consumer Electronics, and the Maricopa County Junior College District.
She was an accomplished cook and baker, loved to entertain and travel, and was quick to make friends. She toured Europe, England, Scandinavia, and China, cruised the Hawaiian Islands, and took extended road trips throughout the United States and Canada. She and Hardy enjoyed summers at their cabin in the Arizona mountains, and in later years, they spent summers in Idaho with a group of Arizona sunbirds.
Lorraine was preceded in death by Hardy, her husband of 50 years, her brothers Leonard and Robert, and sisters Muriel, Verlyce, and Rosella. She is survived by her children Thomas, Leslie, Craig, and Cam; grandchildren Duane, Heather, Aaron, Cassandra, Brian, Timothy, and Erik; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
