Dorothy Barbara Magill

Barbara P. Magill (Bobbie) passed away on April 4th 2012 with loving family at her side. Barbara was born October 9, 1920 in Newburgh, New York, the daughter of Harry F. Parrott and Hortense Reinholdt Parrott. Barbara grew up in New York City and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and Virginia Intermont College. Barbara was married to the late Stephen Edward Magill, and is the mother of Robyn DeBell

(Michael) Stephen W. Magill and Linda P. Magill. She is survived by grandchildren Megan DeBell, Lauren DeBell, Erin Mauel (Peter), Stephen J. Magill, David Peterson (Sharon) and 6 great-grandchildren. Barbara worked as a medical secretary, was an ardent and expert Masters bridge player, and a voracious reader. She lived comfortably and happily at Scottsdale Village Square for a decade and leaves behind many dear friends. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, April 30, at St. Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church, 6715 N. Mockingbird Lane, Paradise Valley.
