Jane E Malloy, most recently a resident of Sun Lakes AZ passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 87. As the ultimate organizer and planner we feel confident that heaven is about to experience the grandest homemaker ever to pass through the pearly gates! Born in Rockland, Village of Nyack New York in 1934 to Charles Thatcher and Ida Cox Thatcher, Jane is survived by her daughter Stephanie Tompson & her husband Scott of Gold Canyon AZ, daughter Kim Robson & her husband Steve of Paradise Valley AZ, daughter Lisa Greager and her husband Jim of Fountain Hills AZ and her daughter Becky Conner & her husband Jack of Billings Montana. Grandchildren include John, Alycia, Kelly, James, Rebecca, Scott, Tatum, Brandon, Bryce, Zach, Josh and Zoe and their spouses/significant others and 5 Great-Grandchildren: Carter, Preston, Kiara & Grayson. She joins her husband, Thomas P Malloy who preceded her in death just this year, (he was interred at The Arizona National Military Cemetery, March 17
th
2021. That day would have been their 65
th
wedding anniversary!), and her son, Paul Malloy who preceded her in death as well. At the time that Tom & Jane married in 1956, Tom had already enlisted in the US Army. The next 65 years included a 25-year career in the US Army, 18 moves around the country and the world and 2 tours of duty to Vietnam. When they retired from the Army, Jane received a Certificate of Appreciation from the General, United States Army Chief of Staff for “their grateful appreciation for her own unselfish, faithful and devoted service. Her unfailing support and understanding helped to make possible her husband’s lasting contribution to the nation.” She was a coach (of many different sports!), a Scout leader (both girls and boys!), a leader of the women’s guild at church, a community leader. She was a loyal and devoted friend, she was fun, she was mischievous! She loved ice cream and animals. Most of all she loved her “hubby” and her family! The many things along their journey you can’t begin to count, the lifelong friendships, their 4-legged family members, the trips taken, the Scout meetings, the sports games, the boyfriends X4, the girlfriends, the school dances, graduations, weddings, the girls weekends and the “drives”. From Trenton NJ to Sun Lakes AZ it’s 2366 miles, it’s the journey of the million miles in-between that transformed you from a shy young girl to the Mom, GMa and GGG that we love and will so dearly miss! We would like to thank the caregivers at Renaissance in Sun Lakes for their diligent, compassionate care of our Mom. We would like to thank Summit Hospice for their exceptional care during our Mom’s last days. We had a Memory Service with both Mom & Dad on Wednesday January 13
th
, lead by Chaplain Carl, we will forever be grateful for that time. After a ceremony at the Arizona National Veterans Cemetery, Mom will be interred with Dad at The Arizona National Veterans Cemetery. Together forever thru eternity.
