Maria Dolores Lozoya "Lolis" passed away on July 22, 2024 in Mesa Arizona surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on April 12, 1966, in Durango Mexico to Irene Salinas and Aniceto Lozoya. She immigrated to the United States to give her two sons a chance at a better life. She lived most of her life in the United States, working hard to raise her two loving sons. She was a hard worker and did everything she had to do to support her family. She enjoyed listening to all sorts of music, but mainly Cumbia. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and cooking them their favorite dishes. She was never selfish when it came to helping friends and family. She fought to the last second against a liver disease that eventually took her beautiful life. She was a loving daughter, mother, loving sister, and loving grandmother. Her beautiful spirit lives on in all of those that were lucky to have met her and known her. May God receive her with open arms in the Kingdom of Heaven. She is now smiling and without pain, along with her brother and father that left us before her.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024 with a rosary at 7pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phx. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday August 9, 2024 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 400 N. 30th Street in Phx.
