Charlotte Ruth Marlin

82, of Phoenix, passed away on August 9, 2014.  Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Temple University.  Charlotte worked as a Registered Nurse.  She achieved Mensa status and was a member of the ACLU.  She was also the president of VNSA.  She is survived by her son Lawrence John Marlin (Anita) and their children Christopher, Michael, Rachel and Matthew, daughter Jessica (Jeff) Porr and their children Carri, Lisa, Jeff, Timmy, Liz, Amanda and Danny, their grandchildren Regina, Cheli, Jaylon, Jordon, Kyra, Brody, Dominick, Atreya, Aiden, and their great grandchild Benjamin, and daughter Valerie (Greg) Sanderson and their children Shaun, Dusty and Cory.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm with a Gathering at 6:00pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
