Catherine Emma Martinez

Age 42, of Surprise, AZ passed away on February 18, 2016. Catherine was born in Phoenix, AZ on March 28, 1973. She was a loving mother and devoted family woman. Catherine lifted up and encouraged all those around her to live genuine, service based lives. Her devotion to public service is carried on through her two sons and daughter, all of whom are active service members in the US ARMY. Catherine herself hoped to complete her degree in EMS and nursing and dedicate herself to helping others in their greatest time of need. She encouraged a love of art and literature in all of those around her with her great love of music and history. Her legacy will live on in hearts of her family through all that she has taught us. Her beautiful spirit and sense of humor will be missed every day. Catherine is survived by her husband Brian Speese, three children, Armando Luiz Adan, Xochitlquetzal Adan and Octavio Aleksandr Adan, grandson James, mother Catherine and sister Meghan, as well as her many friends. She is preceded in death by her elder brother Stacy Gene MacRae and father Louis Martinez. Funeral Service will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E.
