Maureen Strickland

Maureen Strickland, 83, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on December 2, 2023, from congestive heart failure. She was born on July 16, 1940, in Weymouth, Massachusetts outside of Boston. Maureen married her husband, Daniel in October of 1963. She was a stay-at-home mother and babysat children in the neighborhood. Maureen loved children and was beloved by the many children she took care of over the years. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel, daughter, Debra, son, Joseph, and sister Joan. Maureen is survived by her son--Ted, daughters-in-law--Julie and Jeanette, grandchildren--Jolie, Roland, Emma, and Eli, and her brothers, Don, Dick, and Jerry. A celebration of life will be held in Maureen’s honor on January 20, 2024 at her son, Ted’s home.
