Frederick S. Mcbride

Frederick S. McBride 94, of Phoenix, AZ passed on December 4, 2020. He was born on July 9, 1926 to George and Addie McBride in Evansville, Indiana. Fred was a World War II veteran and retired from the US Postal Service after 41 years. He also bred and raced Thoroughbred horses for over 30 years. He is survived by his son John (Susan), 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his wife Rita of 63 years and his only daughter Barbara. May he rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 5:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix.
