58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his home in Phoenix AZ. Born on February 1, 1955 to Jack and Phyllis Miano in Norwalk CT. He graduated from Norwalk High School and studied Business at Norwalk Community College. He married his sweetheart Janice DeRosa on a rainy July 4

in 1981 in Norwalk. Then they left Connecticut and made their home in Rutland County, VT where Joe managed 3 NAPA Auto Parts Stores. In 1994, he and Janice relocated to Phoenix AZ. He was employed as a Partsman at Courtesy Chevrolet for the last 12 years. He is survived by his loving wife; mother Phyllis Miano of Norwalk CT; sister Linda Miano Mellow, nephew Michael M Mellow and niece Micaela Mellow, all of Columbia CT; sister-in-law, Cecily DeRosa of Scottsdale; cousins, David, Michelle, Kaylee, Meredith and Christopher Black of Gilbert; and two shelter-adopted canines.  Joe was preceded in death by his father, Jack Miano, and his brother-in-law, Michael Mellow. A Celebration of his Life Service will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11am at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Road, Phoenix.
