Mindy Nicole Gambino, “Mimi” was born on May 1st 1986, and passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024.
Mimi was the light of her family’s eyes and brought such joy and radiance to everyone and everywhere she blessed her presence with.
Mindy attended grade school at St. Thomas the Apostle along with her two younger brothers Joey and Tommy.
Her high school years were spent at St. Marys High School in Phoenix, where she graduated in 2004. While attending high school Mindy worked at her grandfather Roddy Gardner’s Medical Practice where she truly found her passion in the medical field and gained invaluable lessons that would ultimately guide her to her to pursue her true passion in the medical field. She adored her grandfather and they shared a very special relationship.
Mindy received her bachelor of science in Biology at ASU and went on to get her Nursing license in 2021. Mindy loved being a nurse and she worked at Valley Wise in labor and delivery where she thrived and created countless wonderful friendships.
Mindy was a big “foodie” and loved to try out new restaurants with her friend and family.
Mindy’s family was the most important thing in her life. She loved being around family more than anything and the relationship her and her Mother Kim shared was so beautiful, they were best friends and did everything together, they were the true queens of shopping and making sure that every family gathering was perfect.
Her brothers Joey and Tommy were always selfless in their love for their sister and would drop anything at a moment’s notice to be there for their sister and she loved them so dearly.
Mindy’s Stepfather Rocko was a huge part of her life and she loved and cherished him in so many ways.
Mindy’s lifelong dream was to have a child and she fulfilled that dream just two months shy of her passing when she gave birth to her precious baby boy Dylan James Gambino. Dylan was her world and she loved him so so much, she would just sit and stare at him with the biggest smile on her beautiful face.
We will miss you immensely Mimi, you will remain in our hearts and thoughts day in and day out and we will raise your sweet Dilly Boy just as you would want us to, he will always remember his beautiful and amazing Mommy.
Our love for you could move mountains Mimason.
Forever and always in our hearts.
