Serjoe Angel Montenegro

Serjoe Angel Montenegro, 32, was called home to be with our Lord on September 13, 2021. He was born on March 1, 1989, in Phoenix, AZ, to Gracie Vasquez and Steve Montenegro. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School, in 2008. Serjoe loved to watch movies and sports, especially basketball, and he grew up playing football and baseball. He would watch any sports game that was on, but his favorite teams were the Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers.

He is the fifth child born out of seven, five girls and two boys. Serjoe was a generous person who created lots of laughter around him. He was very family oriented, helpful, and selfless. It was never a dull moment with him, many memories. Serjoe, you are so loved and missed already. Rest in Heaven.

Serjoe is preceded in death by his sister, Sugar Candice Montenegro. He is survived by his mother: Gracie and father: Steve; his siblings: Anita, Stephanie, Alissia, Steve, and Sierra; along with 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., with a Rosary held at 6:30 P.M., on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix.
