Margaret “Maggie” Miranda Montoya, 79, went to be with Jesus on November 30, 2011. She gives joy through her cherished stories, her precious smile, and her happy laughter. Margaret continues to be loved by her oldest daughter, Terry, and her Mike. Her Margie and her Eddie. Her Linda and her Compa. Her son, Nito, and her Candy. Her baby, Janet, and her Kip. Her “queen” Lisa. Her mijos, Christopher and Anthony. Her babies, Zena, Ramonito, and Kiersten. Her Celina, Christian, and Adrianna. Her brother, Frank Beltran. Her sister, Kay Randosh. Throughout her life Margaret made everyone she knew feel special, including her kids, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and her many friends. She would send cards, dated, every birthday and holiday, each carefully selected by her loving hands. Comida and good times would be shared together in the kitchen. Love was given just by being in her presence. Margaret proudly worked in an office for the state for 20 years. As a young girl, she participated in beauty competitions, sharing her gift of song. Even recently, she was named the “Queen of Hearts” by her friends. Siempre eres la reina de nuestros corazones. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. A celebration of her life will begin at 10:30am, with Funeral Mass at 11:00am, on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington Street. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
