age 92, passed away peacefully in Phoenix on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Born November 6, 1920 in Liverpool, England. May moved with her husband and children to North Royalton, Ohio in 1957 and then to Phoenix in 1986. May started working at a very young age and helped to raise her 7 younger siblings. May was devoted to her family and loved her children with all her heart. She loved Yoga, dancing, poetry, keeping up on current events, and sharing beautiful stories about family and growing up in England. “Auntie May” was a role model to many young ladies and well into her late fifties graced the fashion pages of the Cleveland Plain Dealer as a fashion model. Occasionally, you saw her beautiful demeanor in local television commercials. May was a spiritual and positive person; she sought and encouraged the best in people. She was kind, compassionate and freely gave of her time, possessions and love. Survivors include her children Robert Murray of Phoenix and Helen Roslin Atley of Boise; her grandchildren Shawn, Colin, David, Christy and Ralph and her great grandchildren Samantha, Sydney, Natalie and Carter. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert, grandson Corey, mother Mary, father Cornelius and her seven siblings. Private family services planned.
