Isabel C. Murrietta

of Phoenix, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the age of 78.  She was surrounded by her family.  Preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Helen Murrietta, beloved brother Frankie A. Murrietta and brother in law Henry O. Santana.  She is survived by her devoted sister Alice M. Santana, brother Oscar Murrietta and sister in law Rita, nieces and nephews Diana Chouinard (Pierre), Mary Alice Frias (Xavier), Helen Santana (Sheri), Danny Santana (Leslie), Vincent Murrietta (Theresa), Mark Murrietta (Jackie), John Murrietta (Lorraine), Terrie Talbert (Tom), Peggy Murrietta and numerous great-nieces and nephews.  Isabel was born on July 28, 1935, in Phoenix.  She leaves loving memories of her beloved doggies, championship Rummy cube games and crochet and craft gifts that we will always treasure.  Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Scripture Service at 7:00pm, Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 17, 2014, at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 1030 N. Hayden Rd., in Scottsdale.  Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery 48th St. & Oak, in Phoenix.
