Pearl Musenbrock

Pearl Musenbrock age 97 of Scottsdale, AZ peacefully passed away March 6, 2021. Pearl was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend of many. She was born on September 26, 1923 in Carlyle, Illinois to her late parents Ben and Pearl Gehrs. Graduated from St. Mary’s High School and married Edward Musenbrock on November 25, 1943 and moved to Arizona in 1956. Pearl found joy in raising her 3 children Barby, Kathy and Phil and being active in her husband’s business as office manager. Enjoying art, crafts, sewing, and cooking – Pearl was a member of the Christ Child Society and in other women’s church activities in the St. Theresa Parish, prayer being a very important part of her day. Upon retirement Pearl and Eddie treasured their many motor home travels throughout the 50 states, Australia and New Zealand. Pearl enjoyed playing Poker, BINGO, Dominoes, and other table games with her many friends, as she adored the company of others and the laughter that ensued.

Pearl is survived by her daughters: Barbara Salazar, Kathy (Tom) Shires, daughter-in-law: Carole, and sister: Lilly Day, granddaughter: Shannon (Jeremy) Braccio, great-grandchildren: Sophia and Bandon, granddaughter: Heather (Chel) Moore, great-grandchildren: Colton and Bryce, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents: Ben and Pearl Gehrs, her loving husband: Eddie of 66 years, son: Phil, son-in-law: Arnold Salazar, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E Thomas Road, Phoenix.
