Paul Nunnelley

God has taken him home after a year-long battle with prostate cancer. He was a wonderful husband to Laura, brother to Blake, father to Tiffany and Matthew, and “pop-pop” to Samantha and Nathan. He was born February 19, 1948 in Glendale, CA, but moved to Phoenix when he was two. He graduated from Arizona State University and worked as a quality director for 30-plus years. He married Laura at Brophy Chapel in 1974. Phoenix was his home for the majority of his life, except for time spent in Austin, TX, Greensboro, NC and San Diego, CA. Paul retired to Phoenix in 2014 to be closer to his two grandchildren. He loved to travel, which he was able to do all over the world with his work and family. His passport was well-stamped, but he always put his family first. He was known for his wisdom, persistence and humor and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Nunnelley, and his mother, Irene Nunnelley. His Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Scottsdale.
