Catherine “Kay” Oddo

Catherine Oddo “Kay”, our loving mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Mom so enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren engaged in their respective sports from volleyball, baseball, football and lacrosse. Mom became our greatest fan. During her later years her great-grandchildren provided her with much happiness watching them play.

From a young age mom worked as a bookkeeper beginning in Brooklyn and continuing to Phoenix where she worked for a law firm. Her dedication to her work never wavered. It was her skill with numbers that amazed us as she would “balance to the penny.”

Mom could be found every afternoon outside with her statues saying the rosary. Her faith was her guiding light.

Mom is survived by her children Joseph and Alissa Oddo, 2 daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank the Terraces of Phoenix Health Center for their tender care during mom’s final days.

In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to St. Jude’s Research Hospital as mom felt compassionate in her love for children.

Funeral services will be held June 28th at 10:00 am at Most Holy Trinity, 8620 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85020. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85008.
