Olivia Telles Flores, 99, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024, in the comfort of her daughter Olivia's (Lolly) home surrounded by her three daughters. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 28, 1924 to Pablo and Guadalupe Telles and was their last surviving child of seven children. She attended Phoenix Union High School. She began her employment at the young age of 16 working at a jewelry store in downtown Phoenix polishing gemstones, followed by working at Kress Department Store as a window trimmer.
In 1943, she married Luis Flores for 64 beautiful years and was a dedicated, caring mother to her three daughters. As a newlywed, she worked on the assembly line at the Army Base in Tacoma, Washington during World War II. She was a social butterfly, always positive, and had a cheerful personality and loved dancing. She volunteered at the El Mirage Senior Center in her younger days and later she enjoyed going there where she had many friends. She lived independently just weeks before her passing and lived a beautiful abundant life and we are forever grateful for the memories we have.
She is survived by her daughters Olivia (Lolly) Cruz, Linda Perez and Roseanna Acero, five grandchildren; Monica Harding, Daniel Perez, Michelle Perez, Douglas Acero and Matthew Acero, six great-grandchildren; David Michael Cruz, Jaqlynn Cruz, Natalie Harding, Hannah Perez, Michaela Harding and Jaxon Harding, three great-great grandchildren; Sebastian Cruz, Mia Ramirez, and Michael Ramirez.
