Betty P. Orsini

Betty P. Orsini, age 82, of Phoenix, passed away Wednesday, August 31. Betty was born in Childress, Texas, and eventually moved to Detroit where she married Gerald B. Orsini, of Toronto, Ontario, in 1966. They moved to Phoenix in 1967. Betty and Jerry were active, long-time parishioners of St. Agnes parish in Phoenix. Betty loved to sing, had a magical green thumb, and always had a loving smile for everyone she met. Survivors include sisters, Dolores and Modesta; brother, Pedro; daughters, Ann, Corina, and Laura; granddaughter, Samantha; grandson, Eric; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; sisters, Guadalupe, Sara, Gloria, Carpofora, Hortencia, and Silveria; and brothers, Ismael and Nicholas. Visitation will be from noon to 5:00pm, Sunday, September 4 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, 85018. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 6, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, 85008. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
