Cami Owsley passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. Cami Owsley a Seattle native and graduate of the University of Washington relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona January 1980 with her three children to pursue a career in Interior Design and enjoy a lifestyle filled with sunshine and possibilities. With hard work she led a design team and went on to become an Executive Vice President with Robson Communities. Cami founded her own interior design firm in Phoenix and enjoyed and thrived by imagining, creating and installing amazing spaces and bringing them to life for her clients and providing them years of enjoyment.
She is survived by her three children (Lisa, Robb, Megan) and her four grandchildren (Chaz, Cade, Alex, Zach) and her beloved bulldog Hank. Cami possessed an adventurous spirit; she enjoyed traveling the world and meeting new friends at every turn. She loved to travel, read, cook, and create. She loved children and believed strongly in education. Cami loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, boating, the beach and outdoor adventures. She had a passion for wildlife and loved animals. Some of her favorite places included New York City, San Diego Beaches, Napa Valley, Aspen Mountain, Hawaii, Seattle and her favorite destinations in Europe.
Cami was wonderful at extracting the best from life to get the most from every day and enjoy her friendships and family. She would say often “This world is an apple; you have to take a big bite!” Cami was an amazing friend, guiding parent and loving grandmother. She brought so much to this world and will be missed very much every day. A celebration reception for family and friends will be held at the Biltmore Hotel, Gold Room Saturday April 26
